Pumpkin Picking and Halloween Carnival

I love Halloween time! We got to go on a hay ride out to the pumpkin fields and the kids each chose a pumpkin. We carved the pumpkins later. Travis was quite the pumpkin carver this year. He did some spooky hands for Caden and a tigger for Tori.




This last Saturday we went to the town carnival and the kids got their faces painted. They looked pretty cool.

Marshmallow Roast

We decided to go up the canyon and have ourselves a marshmallow roast. The kids have been begging to go. It was a lot of fun. It had been a long time since I have choked on smoke and enjoyed a good fire.

Caden and Tori were in heaven. Caden did not like his marshmallows cooked so he pretended to cook them and then he ate them. Tori just liked to catch the mallows on fire and then burn them to nothing.

Scott was pretty cozy. He just hung out in his car seat.

Caden Turns 5!

Caden turned five in September. He had a Birthday party and it was a lot of fun, but a lot of work. I was grateful Travis was there to help because all the boys wanted to do was wrestle and I was in a panic. I am not used to boys pounding each other.

Caden wanted a mountain cake for his birthday. I had to get creative, but it turned out in the end. He thought it was pretty cool which is all that matters.

Caden had a pinata at his party but he could not say the
word and so he called it his piesta.
